MD: Registered sex offender beaten to death in Reservoir Hill

BALTIMORE —The Labor Day weekend in Baltimore’s Reservoir Hill ended with the beating of a 52-year-old man on the street in full daylight. The man — who the 11 News I-Team has learned is a registered sex offender — later died.

A witness said an orange traffic cone was used as a weapon. The attackers seemed to be carrying out instant street justice with their target claiming he’d done nothing wrong. Full Article

Why can’t anything be simple?

Why can’t these attacks, the murders by vigilantes (who premeditated these things while they hunt), the statistics that show how lives are being affected, the recidivism rate of 1.9% … The fear RSO’s must live under every day, the unknown from one day to the next of where they can and can’t live, how difficult it is to find a job … Why can’t a stack of information simply be brought, in a pile, NOT LOST ON LEGAL JARGON to SCOTUS and have them review it as human beings? Not the robots in black robes who can’t see beyond their arms (their world) … and then make a correct decision? This so burns me up!!!

When Chief Justice Roberts equated registering to filling out an application at “Price Club”(Costco), I want to know who lives in fear for their life for filling out an application at Costco? Anyone? Has anyone been targeted for vigilante “justice” for a Costco application? Or turned down for a job? Or denied housing? SCOTUS needs to wake up and see that the registry is not just PUNISHMENT, it is also CRUEL AND UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT!

What? They didn’t go after his family as well? When are people going to wake up! We are now living in the Internet age. Furthermore, we live in a society that has been brainwashed into thinking all sex offenders are these perverts or child molesters hanging out at parks? Something must be done! This is out of control! What if his wife was present? Children present? This is very disturbing. The killers are disturbed as well! What kind of human being can go around and beat someone to death? Very disturbing! The next time the cops come to your home for a compliance check, tell them your afraid to answer your door because you fear for your safety!
